A little background on Carol Transportation and how we came to be…

Carol Transportation was created roughly 20 years ago as a sister company to Liotta Trucking. Our customer base was so large, a second company was opened to accommodate all the needs of our vast customer list. In 2009, Joseph Liotta (President and sole owner of Liotta Trucking that was started in the 1940s) passed away, and Carol Transportation then took on the lead role and has been building ever since. The knowledge that Joe had was shared and made Liotta Trucking a household name in the ocean freight trucking industry, and Carol Transportation was able to assist in helping the expansion go smoothly and in offering more services.

Joseph kept the business going from his father and the tradition continues. Joseph built a great foundation and Carol Transportation has expanded on that exponentially. With over half of a century of quality service, honest business, and competitive rates!

Carol Transportation has grown its warehousing facility and has tapped into several other markets (see “Services” tab for more information). Since the warehouse is ambient, it leaves a lot of room to store many different things and accommodate several companies. With a highly-detailed inventory system, it is simple to keep track of all customers’ products.
